Image via WikipediaRAD is not only an awesome word circa 1980, but it is also the initials for Regional Asset District.  Basically you pay a 1% county sales tax and part of that tax goes to RAD which supports all kinds of important cultural resources.

You’ll see the Burg’s biggest babies!   Performances by Pittsburgh Musical Theater X-Treme Teen Broadway, and the Pittsburgh CLO cast of I Love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change.  Demonstrations by Dance Alloy Theatre.  Plus, family activities with other regional assets.
