The short version of the story is … a The Lagnese’s family, who live in Pittsburgh, takes a trip to Jamaica, visits the Kew Park Coffee Plantation and form a partnership to bring the Kew Park Coffee directly to Pittsburgh. Long time readers of IheartPGH know how much we <3 the Steel City Big Pour. The Big Pour is beer festival/annual fundraiser for Contruction Junction. We didn’t even blog about this years event because the tickets sold out so quickly – a testament to the popularity of this event. Not only does the Big Pour give one a chance to support a great organization like Construction Junction while drinking beer, but it is a very well organized event. Due to the snow – the East Liberty Farmers’ market – which is usually open Saturday mornings – will be open on Sunday so that the meats and produce don’t go to waste.
