2/4/2019 – Looking for Valentine’s Day events in Pittsburgh? You can find an updated list for 2019 here

We’ve updated this post for 2017 – There is still time to impress your Valentine! Pittsburgh Valentine’s Day Events for friends, families, lovers (and those who love to hate Valentine’s Day).

Thanks to the folks at Romeo Delivers for putting together our 2014 Valentine’s Day in Pittsburgh Guide.  Romeo Delivers is a Pittsburgh startup that is on a mission to help  bring a little more romance into relationships.

For some there’s an inverse relationship between Valentine’s Day and, well, happiness. It’s one of those holidays that taunts both singles and couples with anxiety. With a host of noteworthy things to do on the infamous day, and gift options that up your sex appeal and support local businesses: we can collectively skip that regrettable beer-you’re-my-favorite-Valentine moment this year. Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth at Sinful Sweets in Lawrenceville

Sinful Sweets is a newly opened chocolate shop in the heart of Lawrenceville on 44th street where you can buy chocolate, candies, and get a scoop of ice cream. Christopher George is the owner of Sinful Sweets and has been in the chocolate business since early 2011. But his love of chocolate is rooted in his past, with memories of chocolate shops in his home state of New York and of his uncle’s chocolate factory in Chicago.

Since early 2011, Christopher has made chocolate and candy for weddings, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties. And since late last year, he has owned the Sinful Sweets chocolate factory that sells all kinds of scrumptious chocolate—chocolate covered pretzels, toffee, peanut butter rice krispie treats, sea salt caramels, and even chocolate covered bacon– that is all made in the store by Chris.

Everything we tried from Sinful Sweets was positively delightful, and I would definitely recommend stopping in before Valentine’s Day to get your Valentine something. The sea-salted caramels and the peanut butter chocolate covered pretzels were my favorite. The milk chocolate melted on my tongue and the mix of salty and sweet with both the pretzel and the salted caramel is an unbeatable combination. So head out and support your local chocolate shop and buy something you know your sweetheart will enjoy tomorrow.

As a special for Valentine’s Day tomorrow, Sinful Sweets is offering 10% off any online order over $20, and Pittsburghers can choose the option to pay in-store and pick up here instead of waiting for it to be shipped. The coupon code is Love. Chris is also offering a 10% discount in the store for anyone who mentions I heart PGH.
