Summer Stew

summerstewflier.jpgThe Union Project has been running this series for a few months now. The Tuesday Stew is an evening of music and a bowl of soup for the bargain price of $5. Since it is July, they are moving the fun outside. I have heard great things about Joy Ike and Boca Chica.

July 15 – Summer Stew!

The Union Project welcomes Joy Ike, Boca Chica, the Harlan Twins, and Sleep Experiments to the Summer Stew in Union Project’s side yard, weather permitting. This event has come highly reccomended from a number of IheartPGH readers – thanks for the great suggestions, please keep sending them.

Eat soup, support good causes, take home a handmade bowl.  Local artists have made and donated bowls for this event.  $20 gets you in the door, a meal of soup and you can pick out one of the bowls to take home – over 1200 bowls have been donated for this event.  Live music and celebrities (who have created some bowls too) and silent auction.
