Just an update on helping to send the Steelers Fans to Hawaii – there is still time to vote for Jack D. from Pittsburgh – currently he is behind some Jets fans to win a trip to the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.
Dan Gigler who writes Blog’n’Gold for the Post-Gazette – just wrote about another Pittsburgh family who is competing to win a trip to the super bowl. They are in the lead but need your vote. Dan also included a link to our post about voting for Jack D. to win a trip to Hawaii. Thank Dan!
And make sure to check out the PG’s Steeler Nation page on Facebook here.
Come on Steeler Nation – just a few clicks to help out some fellow football lovers.
Friend of IheartPGH sent this to me this morning. Procter&Gamble has a contest on their facebook page – the family that gets the most votes for their photo gets a trip to Hawaii for the probowl.
Currently Jack D. and his Steeler loving family are in 2nd place with 173 votes. Please stop by and cast a vote for the Steeler nation. Click here to vote!
Who wouldn’t want to win two free tickets to a Steelers game? Luckily for us, Pittsburgh shopping institution Larrimor’s is giving away two tickets to the December 12th Steelers vs. Bengals game. All you have to do to enter is visit Larrimor’s on Facebook, become a fan, and leave a comment on their wall saying which Steeler you think desperately needs a fashion makeover! So far the most popular responses are Big Ben, and up until yesterday, Jeff Reed (even though he’s not an official Steeler anymore, he could still use some style help).
You have until midnight on Sunday, December 5th to enter and the winner will be announced via Facebook on December 6th. If you win, we’d be happy to be your date!
I have been asked this question more than once and I just don’t have a great answer. There are lots of bars in Pittsburgh and if they have a TV, you can pretty much bet you can watch the game there. But, there are alot of factors that go into making it a great game day location – the menu, the beer selection, the crowd – I know it was standing room only at Buffalo Blues last Sunday as the crowd was literally spilling out on the the street.
I just got an email from Jennifer, who runs the Bottlebrush Gallery in Harmony, Pa (just a short drive up 79N – they have an awesome selection of art and gifts from local artists too). She has a friend who will be visiting Pittsburgh this weekend and asked about a good place to watch the game. By the way – you can now show the Bottle Brush Gallery online – so if you can check out all of their items from your computer – http://shop.bottlebrushgallery.com. Continue reading
