Head on down to the Dormont Recreation Center (1801 Dormont Avenue) on Saturday night for some gambling fun to benefit the Dormont Boosters. All of the proceeds from the evening support athletic programs for kids in Dormont.

ABOUT DORMONT ATHLETIC BOOSTERS ASSOCIATION

DABA is a nonprofit organization that offers administrative and financial support to various activities for approximately 500 children, ranging in ages from 5-18, in Dormont and the Keystone Oaks Area since 1949.

Those wishing to helping out with DABA should contact a member of the executive board to inquire about membership. DABA meetings are held at 8:00p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Dormont Municipal Building, located at 1444 Hillsdale Avenue.

Just in time for the 2010 summer season, Wi-Fi has been installed at the Dormont Recreation Center, which is now available for rent for special events, business luncheons, birthday parties, fundraisers, and corporate meetings. With a capacity of 185, the facilities of the Dormont Recreation Center feature power point capabilities, Wi-Fi, restrooms, a kitchen, and handicap accessibility.
