Stuff White People Like Archives

One of the people I met this weekend at TEDxCMU is the moderator of the Reddit Pittsburgh – who reminded me that this can be a great source for sharing and finding more information about Pittsburgh.

What is reddit? reddit is a website where people can share links and photos – others can vote those links up or down and leave comments on the links as well. There are sub-reddits for lots of places and topics – including Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh reddit board is – http://www.reddit.com/r/pittsburgh/.

Chritian Lander, author of the widely popular blog and book Stuff White People Like will be giving a free talk at CMU on Tuesday.

If you haven’t checked it out before – Stuff White People Like – is a list of things that has been called the preppie handbook for today’s generation. It is fascinating and often totally hilarious.

I think this will be an interesting talk to hear about how a blog became so successful so quickly.
