Photos from T-shirt Day – Lots of Great Pittsburgh T-shirts

Last Monday – some of Pittsburgh biggest t-shirt fans gathered at OTB Cafe to celebrate International T-shirt Day 2010 – while this day was in celebration of all t-shirts – it was amazing to see that everyone showed up in their finest Pittsburgh t-shirts.  And we had an amazing collection of Pittsburgh t-shirts that we raffled off.

Here are some of the shirts that Commonwealth Press offers – you can buy these shirts at their shop on Carson Street or online at CompressMerch.com

Then it was off to OTB Cafe on Carson Street for a T-shirt Day Happy Hour.  We displayed some great t-shirts around the bar and had many to give away too.

Here is Dave – a Pittsburgher and a t-shirt lover who is chronicling his shirt collection at Too Many T-shirts by posting 1 photo a day featuring the t-shirt he is wearing. This Pennsylvania T-shirt and the Oakland one below are available at the Cotton Factory guerilla retail story and at the Cotton Factory table at  I Made It Markets (custom orders are available by emailing customprinting-at-cottonfactory.com)

Saturday Sept. 5 – Crafts N'At – with Auction Prizes too!

Crafts NAt Logo

This weekend the Pittsburgh Craft Collective is hosting Crafts N’At – a craft fair at the Union Project . Craft N’At will also include a the pick-a-prize auction benefit [gravity & grace], a contemporary opera benefiting the Parkinson’s foundation of Western PA. It is great to see that the Pgh Craft Collective is working to support the [gravity & grace] project. I first learned about gravity & grace last year and I think it is a really interesting project about living with a disability that has been holding some community workshops over the past few months and will have a performance on September 25 & 26,2009.

Auction Items include: A Gift Certificate from Pavement – one of the best shoe stores around, a membership to the Carnegie Museums, a gift basket from the East End Food Co-Op and MORE!

Here are just a few of the vendors you might want to check out
