The blog Only In Pittsburgh has been posting great photos around the burgh since February – including Mary Monday’s where they post a photo of a Mary statue from somewhere in Pittsburgh. Only in Pittsburgh is having a G20 + Terrible towel photography contest. Send in photos from anything G20 related that also has a terrible towel. The best photo will win an awesome Sally Wiggin T-shirt from Marginal Designs.

You may have noticed a new look for IheartPGH recently – we are trying to make the site easier to use and easier to find more information that you might be looking for about Pittsburgh. We have long wanted to show off more great pictures of this fine city! The front page here and the side bar are now displaying photos from the IheartPGH Flickr Group. If you are a Flickr user please join the group and share your photos! Currently the box on the front pages displays the most recent photo – I am trying to find a way to have it display a slide show and include more information about who took the photo too.

Book Review: Zombies Ate My Headlines | Pittsburgh Metblogs – Mike from Pittsburgh Metblogs has posted a nice review of the Carbolic Smoke Ball book "So much praise has already been heaped onto this book, I really can’t add much more. The book is a great read, I was laughing with just about every page. The pace, was very well done as well, a good mix of longer stories, shorter snippets and even a few photo and caption articles as well."
