Sundae market is a flea market on the Schenley Plaza lawn that showcases local artists, young designers, and people who just cleaned out their garage. So forget Craigslist, and stop bidding on eBay, come to Schenley Plaza and have some human interaction with sellers, or customers.

Image via Wikipedia I first learned about the Sundae Market from Carrie who is one of the great creative folks behind the Imadeit Craft Markets (see past post on IheartPGH here) – I stopped by the Sundae Market last fall and it was a perfect sunny Sunday afternoon. The Sundae Markets have returned this year and there are 2 more left this fall. Having just returned to the area I’ve been hitting up flea markets and Goodwills as well as doing my fair share of garage sailing. I’ve inexplicably started reading the Pennysaver, which I have never really done before. I was intrigued by an estate sale ad that advertised the gamut of antiques, furniture, art, jewelry, and vintage clothes.
