After a much needed break, Title Town is back TOMORROW NIGHT!  Grab your Towel and head on down to the Shadow Lounge for a pre-Super Bowl SUPER-SOUL warm-up party!

Dubbed one of the best dance parties of 2010 by Pittsburgh City Paper readers, we’re taking you into the New Year with that thing you can’t get anywhere else – a non-stop, 5 hour mix of classic and ultra-rare soul, deep funk and old rhythm & blues – all on original 45-RPM vinyl.  Dance to the good stuff and expect a high-energy mix of absolute rarities from Dee Edwards, The Chantels and The Vibrettes, classics from Marvin Gaye and The Emotions, and of course a hefty dose of local goodness.

Food for Fashion – December 6

This must be the year of great collaborations.  I have been spending all morning finalizing some details for the Steelers Watching/Chevy Test Drive Party on Sunday – I will post all the details as soon as I get everything finalized.

But I am also happy to share this event on Monday – which is another great collaboration – 3 local vintage businesses, Daffodil Vintage, Red Pop Shop, Crazy Hot Clothes are teaming up to throw a fashion show.  Each of these businesses operates online from their homes here in Pittsburgh so this is a rare chance to check out their goods in person.  All of this is also for a great cause – the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

So come on down to the Union Project on Monday evening – check out some amazing recycled fashion and gifts, support local businesses.  There will be cookies and you can pretend to laugh at my jokes too – I am honored to be the master of ceremonies for this event (I will be spending the weekend brushing up my fashion vocabulary).  The music will be excellent as DJ Gordy will be making the music selections for the evening.
