Image via WikipediaMillvale is happening these days, well I think things have been happening in Millvale for a while now but they have had some great events recently. Millvale is super close to Pittsburgh, just a quick trip across the 40th Street Bridge and you are in the heart of Millvale. Just along the rivers is the beautiful Riverfront Park (I think this is one of the hidden gems of the regions parks – check out my picture from this summer – you can see the river be hind the sculpture.)
This weekend is all about the kids – stop by the riverfront park from 5-7pm for all sorts of family fun – pumpkins, apple cider, face painting, scary stories and more. Just $3 a kid, parents are FREE. This is the perfect excuse to check out the riverfront park and to enjoy fun fall treats like pumpkins and apple cider and scarecrow making.
