Noir Night Out is back! A classic film noir presented on 35mm, with beer, chili, and wings!

Sunday, November 5th, doors open at 6pm, full ticket price of $15 ($12 for members) includes plenty of chili (meatless options available), boneless wings (meatless options available), baked beans, potato salad and two complimentary drink tickets for beer supplied by our newest partner East End Brewing. You can expect two different draft styles of fresh, well crafted brews from them! Iced teas, root beer, and ginger ale can all be substituted for beer.

The Hitch-Hiker is regarded as the first American mainstream film noir directed by a woman and was selected in 1998 for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as being “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.”

As a young child Myers was severely abused, and now he’s determined to make the world suffer for the atrocities committed against him. An unrepentant sadist, Myers repeatedly uses his faulty eye (which is permanently open) to trick his two terrified victims into believing they have gained the upper hand in the tense stand-off, only to turn the tables on them at the last second. Inspired by the horrific crimes of real life mass murderer William Cook, who was eventually executed in San Quentin.
