Living without Electricity

Bettylou Sandy will present this thought-provoking program, open to the public. Bettylou says, “Historically, most people in Manchester have lived a lifetime without electricity. Today the power goes out and we panic. In this talk, demonstrations, and discussion, we will relive 200 years of history to learn to save electricity and live a simpler lifestyle, while saving money!” The public is welcome to bring ideas and stories of their own to share. A $5 donation is appreciated, with refreshments available. Parking available along Pleasant Street, Forest Street (on the grass along the side of the building, and at the eastern edge of the building along Elm Street.
