About the film:
‘La Grande Illusion’ is a 1937 French war film about Aristocratic Captain de Boeldieu and his mechanic, Lieutenant Maréchal are shot down and sent to a German POW camp. After several unsuccessful escape attempts they are transferred to a new camp that is seemilngly impossible to escape from.
