Facebook Live with Pittsburgh filmmaker Chris Ivey
March 14, 2018 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
• What we’ll do
While this isn’t specifically historic preservation related, I thought some members of the group might be interested in this because Chris Ivey has been documenting East Liberty for over a decade. At 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, PublicSource reporter Jeffrey Benzing will conduct a Facebook Live interview with filmmaker Chris Ivey. They will discuss Ivey’s work chronicling redevelopment and gentrification in his “East of Liberty” documentary series (http://eastofliberty.com/). We will also explore the concerns he has as some Pittsburgh neighborhoods rapidly change and as local officials woo Amazon for a region-defining deal to build its new headquarters.
If you have a question you want to ask Ivey, leave a comment during the interview or send it to jeff@publicsource.org ahead of time.
