Data Rescue Pittsburgh

#DataRescuePGH is an opportunity for programmers, scientists, librarians, activists, and volunteers of all kinds to identify, back-up, and help preserve publicly accessible federal data resources. The goal of #DataRescuePGH and its sister events throughout the country is to ensure continued access to vulnerable data in the public interest through trustworthy archives. This event has been planned by representatives from local libraries, universities, and data organizations in conjunction with the the national initiative directed by the Environmental Data and Governance Initiative (EDGI) and PPEH DataRefuge.
