Spaghetti Love for Lawrenceville

Luckily, I read the paper today and I came across this event. I love neighborhood food dinners almost as much as I love Pittsburgh. I love the idea of bringing the neighborhood together over a big pot of Spaghetti to raise money for the neighborhood. I was already sold on this event before I read that Susan Banahasky was the organizer behind this years Spaghetti dinner. Anything that Susan is involved in is worth your time.

I heart Greek Food Festivals

I really do heart food festivals. I love LOVE love food festival food. I love that the proceeds benefit some great charity. I love that people donate their time to work at the food festivals. I love the ice tea in a carton that you can always find at the greek food festival in Oakland. It is kind of like visiting a real life my big fat greek wedding. And last year I even met a friend of a friend who met her husband volunteering at greek food festival. So if you are one of the few singles that wrote letters to the Post-Gazette about being single in Pittsburgh maybe it is time to volunteer at a greek food festival.
