Trivia is good and Pub Quiz Night at the brillobox is really good. Every wednesday 9 pm. Bring your friends – gift certificate prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
I would love to learn about other trivia nights. Rumor has it that there is Trivia at the Claddagh Irish Pub on Tuesday night but I have yet to confirm that.
December is usually the rest season for the Pittsburgh Sports League. Never Fear! The good folks at the PSL have cooked up Wednesday Night Trivia to get you through the holiday season. Word on the street is that this is tricky trivia. Grab some friends and head on down to Buffalo Blues for Trivia Night.
December 8 is Santaarchy 2007. I love this event. Natalia post this event on IheartPGH way way back in 2005 (2 years seems like a long time in blog time). I am always thrilled to see it return each year.
A while back a group of people in San Francisco went out drinking dressed in Santa Suits. Thus began Santarchy. Now people all over the world get together for an evening (or afternoon) of drinking dressed as Santa. It is Santa fun for grown ups. And yes there are Santarchy’s all over the world. The Pittsburgh Santarchy will start at 2:00pm at the fountain in the South Side Works on Saturday, December 8, 2007.

Apparently they met this Santa somewhere where it is warm and that this guy participates in the Pittsburgh Santarchy!

3 Reasons I like the Sharp Edge
1. Now Smoke Free! – yes, the Sharp Edge is now smoke free!
2. Thin crust pizza. I like the crust thin and crispy. Monday nights large pizzas are $5 off
3. Mugs of beer. Sometimes I just can’t drink a big big beer. I like that I can order a mug of beer here. Never fear, you can also order big and big big beers here.
This Tuesday – all proceeds from Happy Hour at the Brillobox benefits Planned Parenhood of Western, PA. The last Cocktails for a Cause is one of the best happy hours I have attended in a long time. The Brillobox is great and usually has $2 appetizers on Tuesday.
