What exactly is I Made It!?
I Made It! is a regularly occurring, nomadic Market that provides the opportunity for young entrepreneurs to establish their businesses and to enjoy low barriers to bringing their wares to market in order to create successful businesses built on arts and crafts. The Market is an inclusive happening that welcomes artists or other “makers” in the Pittsburgh region to meet like-minded individuals, create new opportunities, and find a receptive environment in which to interact with and learn from each other.

Not Your Grandma’s Craft Fair

There are some awesome craft fairs sweeping the country and Pittsburgh is no exception.  Stop by Braddock this Sunday (June 24) for the I Made It! Sunday Market. Last month they had 20 vendors, this month they have over 50 vendors who will be selling all sorts of cool stuff from Ipod covers to cupcakes.
The other reason to stop check out the I Made It! Market is to check out Braddock.  The Mayor and Deputy Mayor are pretty darn cool – I am sure they will be showing off Lou the Lincoln – their vintage Lincoln Town Car.  And if the Elks club is open they will buy you a beer.  Plus there are some other art projects happening in Braddock this summer that are worth checking out.
The mayor has helped to bring arts to Braddock and you will be able to buy ceramics from the Braddock Creative Arts Program.  There will also be projects for the kids.

Where: The Church at 416 Library Street, just across the street from the first even Carnegie Library

When: Sunday, June 24, Noon-5pm

Craftology
