Market Square Water Balloon FIGHT!

This Saturday, July 28th, from 3-5pm, come down to the Market Square Water Balloon FIGHT! This is the first annual organized water balloon fight in Market Square that is free to all and will feature 2 live local bands, The Dirty Sunshine and CK9 and the Old E Allstars, 10,000 water balloons, and a ton of fun!! This is a community event aimed to bring some good, clean, afternoon fun to the city of Pittsburgh. Feel free to bring a team, join the fight individually, or even watch from the sidelines! There will be separate Splash Zones and Spectator Zones. You can also grab a beer and watch the fight and enjoy the music from one of the many restaurants and bars located in the Square.

PGH Party for a Purpose’s third PARTY!

The party will be this Friday June 22 at Bar Ugly on Federal Street (across from PNC Park) on the Northside. The party will start at 8pm and last until 2am! You’ll enjoy fantastic music spun by Omar-Abdul and DJ Hi-Top Wrangler. Your $10 donation will benefit PULSE (Pittsburgh Urban Leadership and Service Experience) and you’ll get $2 drafts and $3 well drinks – can’t beat it!!!

PGH Party for a Purpose benefits Pittsburgh Cares!!

PGH Party for a Purpose will be hosting its second event on Saturday, March 3rd. 100% of proceeds will benefit Pittsburgh Cares, an organization which inspires volunteerism by organizaing flexible and rewarding volunteer services projects that impact critical need in Greater Pittsburgh.

The party will feature Sonny Cheeba-Cheeba and the Downtown Get-Down Sound from 8:30pm-11:30pm; Mr. Quick M.C. and Akurious Don will perform from 11:30pm til midnight; and DJ Supa C will spin funk, breakbeats, and hiphop til 2am. There will be happy hour specials the ENTIRE night! $2.50 beers, 1/2 off appetizers, and $6 martinis!
