Hip-Hop

A beginners course open to a slightly older age group with the same goals of teaching discipline, improving flexibility and calming the mind, while also beginning to learn about angles, formations and character work. Led by Trevor
Youth Soca/Reggae Dance

Ages 5 – 16
Learn Caribbean traditional and contemporary dance moves. Have fun while learning a little bit about the culture. Led by Christine Robinson
Adult Soca/Reggae Dance

Learn Caribbean traditional and contemporary dance moves that will surely improve your presence on the dance floor. Led by Christine Robinson
Yoga with Meeraj
Wednesdays 6pm – 7pm (except 2nd Wednesdays)
Drop in Yoga (Pay what you want $5-10 suggested donation)
An all levels yoga class! This moderately paced vinyasa flow focuses on the foundations of asana (poses), prana (breath), relaxation, and the practice of meditation. The class moves at the students pace and there are always modifications. All aspects of a traditional vinyasa flow are practiced in this class. This class is appropriate for students of all levels, including absolute beginners.
Tai Chi
Saturdays 11:15 am – 12:15 pm (Beginners) | Tuesdays 6:15 – 7:15 pm (Advanced)
Ages 16+
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that has evolved over centuries to become a means of alleviating stress and anxiety, a form of “meditation in motion.” Intermediate and Advanced Tai Chi private lessons are available upon request. Led by Bernie Stankay
“Imaginarium in Clay” – Youth Pottery
Saturdays 10 am – 12 noon
Ages 8-15
Welcome to the world of clay with a fun and inspirational class for children with zany, full imaginations. Practice hand-building vessels, sculpting and throwing clay on the wheel. All levels are welcome. We work, learn, laugh, and enjoy clay together as a group.
Adult Pottery
Tuesdays 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Ages 16+
In this weekly open studio session, students of all skill levels create wheel-thrown and slab-build pieces which they will eventually glaze, fire and take home.
Family Pottery
Wednesdays 5:30 pm – 7 pm
Ages 8+
Families can collaborate together and create group projects or work individually. It’s a 2 for 1 special. Parents can register kids and participate for free. Its a great family activity and way to create art together.
Drawing Studio
Saturdays 10 am – 11:30 am
Ages 8+
Spark your imagination and interpret your dreams onto paper. Learn the fundamentals of proportion, composition, line, shape, light, shade, perspective and more.
Cartooning
Saturdays 11:40 am – 1:10 pm
Ages 8+
Learn a variety of techniques, both visual and thematic, that will help you tell your tale. Character and scene design, story arc, plot twists and more will be explored in-depth.
Animation
Saturdays 1:15 pm – 2:45 pm
Ages 8+
This hand-on history class will cover the basics of modern and historic animation, by studying media and techniques designed by Walt Disney, Warner Bros, Pixar and Dreamworks.
CULINARY ARTS
Pan-Asian Cooking – Led by Terra Lee Mayes
Ages 16+
Saturdays 1 pm – 3 pm
Expand your palette with some interesting Asian cooking techniques and tasty morsels. In this six week course, students will learn how to make Asian Sushi, Sashimi, and Maki rolls. We will learn how to build a hot pot, make our own dumplings, explore different noodles types, and try new vegetables. A fusion of Western ingredients and Asian techniques will be introduced in an exciting way that will create a fun time in the kitchen. This is a healthy and creative approach to cooking. Creative plating will also be demonstrated.
The Carbs Are Killing You – Led by Mark Snyder
Ages 16+
Saturdays 10 am – noon
