Help Us Put Together a Week of Wing Nights

The other day while snacking on some traditional German faire at Max’s Allegheny Tavern – friend of IheartPGH (FOIHP) stated that she would like to put together a week of wings, chicken wings.  She just needed to find the best wing nights in Pittsburgh.  Before she could say another word I knew this would be a great question for the readers of IheartPGH.

LivingPittsburgh.com has a long list of local wing nights here.  Please share your favorite place for wings in Pittsburgh.

I guess it’s not too late to add that there are free wings on Tuesdays w/ a beer at The Squirrel Cage on Forbes and Murray.

Wednesday nights at Geno’s in Lawrenceville (on butler near stanton) 35 cent wings. I HIGHLY recommend the sloppy grill flavour. I think they have over a dozen different sauces to choose from. It’s also open mic night

Tuesdays, William Penn Tavern in Shadyside has $0.35 wings. They’re rather tasty!!!nWednesdays, all you can eat wings at Buffalo Blues in Shadyside. SO good! nnnI don’t think you can have wings in Pittsburgh and not include Quaker Steak. Wouldn’t that be un-Pittsburgh? And the best thing about it…you can have them any day of the week!!!!

Ugly Dog Saloon on Noblestown Rd used to have two free wing nights (I think Wed + Thursday) that were awesome!

Birmingham Bridge Tavern on the South Side on Wednesday. 35-cents, orders of 5, delicious flavors. I think it starts at 7. The only problem is it is really popular, and if you get there a little late, you could spend nearly 45 minutes to an hour waiting for them to arrive.

I think this should include 1 night at Double Wide. I love meat just as much as the next 'burger, but the Seitan wings at Double Wide are my favorite wing-thing in any category anywhere in the city.nn(Spak Bros deserve a shout-out, too, for their also-awesome seitan wings).
