This is a nice twist on an already great idea. Big Burrito has been hosting wine tastings at the Warhol for years. They are spicing things up a bit with new beer tastings. Even better they are kicking off this new event with the folks from Church Brew Works. My friends from New York City came to Pittsburgh last weekend – one of our many stops on Saturday was the Church Brew Works which they now call the beer church. I am a fan of the beerimisu event if our server said it wasn’t made with beer. Beer tasting and beer prizes – this is a great idea for happy hour!

Join The Warhol and big Burrito as we kick off a new series of Good Friday events.
On the second Friday of every month, a regional microbrewery will be presented by the brewers themselves or their distributors. The ticket price includes a smattering of beer snacks and full admission to the museum.
The beer tastings kick off on March 14. Meet the Church Brew Works Brewer Brant Dubovich and Tony “The Beerman” Knipling, Specialty Brand Manager of Vecenie Distributing. On exhibit for the evening will be Celestial Gold Pilsner, Pipe Organ Pale Ale, Pious Monk Dunkel and ThunderHop IPA. Church Brew Works prizes will also be given out to lucky participants.
