Here is a great opportunity to celebrate a great Pittsburgh neighborhood. Head on south to Carrick for the Carrick Cornfest 2008.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 23RD, 1 P.M. – 8 P.M.

Don't forget to come out and support the Carrick community with this years special event. It has been a while since Carrick hosted this
festival. So expect it to be alive with community groups that are dedicated to Carrick, great activtites for the kids and plenty of home
made food. The Carrick High School Band kicks it into high gear at
1:30 and the Jimmy Adler Band will perform from 4-6 p.m.. Come one come all to Carrick's Creative and Colorful Community Cornfest!
This event is for everyone, so bring your kids,
your neighbors and your friends and help us celebrate all the wonderful things Carrick has to offer.

More great news about the Cornfest. There will be a petting zoo, a horse and pony for rides, and a moon walk! Big news, you can park either in the Carrick High School Parking lot or the back end of the Carrick shopping center. A shuttle van will be available for the whole event to tote you back and forth. Yeah!!
