In October, 1997, The Flaming Lips released an experimental album called Zaireeka. The 4-disc release was intended to be played simultaneously on 4 separate sound systems. Join Generation Listen and 91.3 WYEP’s Joey Spehar for a 20th anniversary listening party for Zaireeka. We’ll set up our large performance space with 4 stereos + put you in the middle of this incredible experience. Plus we will have drinks, snacks, and Joey will lead a brief discussion on the history of the album.

Since it’s so close to Halloween, we’ve decided to make it a costume party! Wear your Halloween costume and you could win tickets to WYEP’s Holiday Hootenanny. Costumes strongly encouraged. You know the Flaming Lips would approve.
