PUMP which runs the PSL (Pittsburgh Sports League) is organizing the second annual Randy Pausch Memorial Flag Football Tournament. The Tournament will be held on Sunday November 1, 2009. Registration for the tournament is open now. All of the proceeds benefit PUMP and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

The Randy Pausch Memorial Flag Football Tournament was founded in 2008 to honor Randy Pausch, our friend and CMU professor who inspired millions worldwide through his highly acclaimed “Last Lecture.” Randy died of complications from pancreatic cancer on July 25, 2008.

Randy Pausch participated in the Pittsburgh Sports League Flag Football Team and some of his friends and team mates have organized Inaugural Randy Pausch Memorial Flag Football Tournament to honor Randy and to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Lindsay’s Note: I have edited the title from Cornhole to Bean Bag Toss tournament. Also – I know that McKeesport isn’t in Pittsburgh but, bean bag toss is awesome and I think that everyone should make the trip to McKeesport for this event.
