I have not yet been able to attend the roller derby, but many friends of IheartPGH (foIhPGH have recommended these derby events as a heck of a good time. One FoIHPGH even suggested that I try out for the roller derby. I am not sure if I am ready for that yet (I do like to rollerblade on the jail trail.) It is great to see that the roller derby has a loyal following here in Pittsburgh.
I happen to know that there are quite a few roller derby fans that are regular readers of IheartPGH (thanks for reading!). The Steel City Derby Demons are back with another round this weekend, I believe this is the last match before the championships. The Slumber Party Slashers, who are sponsored by IheartPGH’s favorite print shop – Commonwealth Press, and the Wrecking Dolls are both 1 and 1 in their series so this should be an exciting match.
