See Santa and his 5 Penguins

Each Saturday in December kids can have their picture taken with Santa Claus and one of the Penguins at the Aviary. North Side Celebration in The Park – July 26, 2008

Thanks to Cosette from CosyMake for posting this great picture of the flyer for the North Side Celebration in the Park Flyer. She will be there selling some of her beautiful hand knit items. The festival is hosted by a North Side native Johnny Angel from Johnny Angel and the Halos. Reasons to Celebrate in the Park: For the Kids – The Children’s Museum has put together a treasure hunt called “Where is Allegheny City”. Here are 2 upcoming events for animal lovers in Pittsburgh: Cats & Dogs Opening at the Warhol Saturday, January 12 is the Warhol Musuem’s opening of the newest exhibit – Warhol’s Dogs & Cats. Andy Warhol painted a number of his pets and has many works about his dogs and cats. On Saturday January 12, Animal Friends will have a dog, a cat and a bunny that are in need of adoption at the museum for the opening.
