Public Art Gets into Google Maps

Pittsburgh is one of those cities on Google Street View – basically google drove around the city taking panoramic photos of allmost every street and used fancy computer technology to stitch those photos together – you can drive down a street and check out a 360 view from the comfort of your own computer. Garden Party Time at the Matress Factory

One of the best events my sister and I ever stumbled  upon was the Mattress Factory’s Community Garden Party. Every year the mattress factory holds a fancy smancy fundraiser – which I hear is a great event. Plus the theme for this year’s fundraiser is “Let them Eat Cake” – I really like cake. I also really like that right after the fancy fundraiser they open the place up for a free day of community activities.
