March Monster Madness: Will Godzilla be the beast that beats them all?

If basketball isn’t your thing, there are some other interesting ways to join in on the March Madness craze this year. Pittsburgh artists and author, Matthew Buchholz, has been sharing monsters through his creative cards and prints which you may have spotted around town. Buchholz is bringing the big monsters to the bracket with March Monster Madness, a daily match-up of  famous monsters and zombies face off each day to see who will move to the next round.   Each weekday you can vote for the winner of each battle on the Alternate Histories website. March Madness and April PULSEations

Back in March, a group of Pittsburgh bloggers organized a March Madness bracket challenge – we all agreed that each blog would write a post about the winning bloggers favorite nonprofit organization. Kate Stoltzfus (aka the brains behind the blog Yinzpiration) had the winning bracket and her nonprofit of choice is PULSE.  I am more than happy to write about PULSE as I think this is one nonprofit that has been quietly making a big impact on some Pittsburgh neighborhoods and is well positioned to continue to do more for the city. IheartPGH March Madness Bracket Challenge

If you would like to compete against fellow IheartPGH readers and basketball lovers – please enter your bracket in to the 2012 IheartPGH bracket challenge.  We moved over to Yahoo sports this year – the Yahoo site seems to be much easier to use.
