The events at the Zoo seem to be selling out quickly so I am posting about this one early.  Head over to the Pittsburgh Zoo for brunch and a cupcake decorating class with the Zoo’s Chef Jess. Make-It-Now Ornaments at the Pittsburgh Glass Center

Pepperedjane via Flickr I know that these Make-It-Now work shops are one of the most popular date events that we have posted around Valentine’s Day.  Great to see that the Pittsburgh Glass center is offering a Make-It-Now Ornament for the holidays. Suitable for ages 10 and above – you can stop by the glass center and make a colorful glass ornament to display in a window or on a tree. The weather forecast for this Saturday is sunshine and 78 degress – which is a nice change from the weather at the beginning of February.  So why not use this as an opportunity to learn to fly fish.  Venture Outdoors is offering an Intro to Fly Fishing workshop on Saturday, April 3, 2010. Learn the basics of rods, reels, line, tippets, knots and flies, and receive hands-on practice in a variety of casting techniques.
