I wasn’t going to post about this – because this event is a little complicate to explain.  But while I was eating lunch today I read this article “Passion Provoke Action” (FastCompany, February 2011. )  In the article, authors Dan and Chip Heath offer up some interesting examples on how to create change by tapping into feelings.  The Teach 4 Amerika Tour, will be stopping in Pittsburgh this weekend – and offers a creative approach to spark the conversation about art schools and the cost of an arts education today. Behind Our Scenes:"Backstage" Artists at SPACE

Often times museum employees “are artists who dedicate their days promoting the artwork of others and their nights & weekends creating artwork of their own.” Curators Laura Mustio and Nicole Rosato celebrate this fact with a new show, Behind Our Scenes, opening Friday night from 6-9PM at SPACE (812 Liberty Ave. in Downtown). Fanboys and Last Weekend For Vader Project at Warhol

Image by Official Star Wars Blog via Flickr This is the last weekend to see the Vader Project – collection of 100 Darth Vader helmets which decorated by artists (see our Vader Project post) which will be at the Warhol until May 3. For anyone who is interested in Star Wars – the film Fanboys will be shown on Saturday and Sunday at 12:30. A comedy about a group of friends who, eager for the premiere of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace travel to Skywalker Ranch to steal an early copy of the script.
