Mysteries of Pittsburgh, which is set in Pittsburgh and written by 'burger Michael Chabon. I love this book especially because my husband works at the 'Cloud Factory', which isn't producing many clouds these days since they burn gas and not coal anymore…but better for our city 🙂

"Meet You In Hell". The story of Frick and Carnegie. Very good read and historically interesting. Not usually a fan of this kind of book…but I liked it!

Wen Spencer's Ukiah Oregon series. It is set in Pittsburgh. She was just at Confluence (I think that is the name of the convention out near the airport)

Anything by Gwyn Cready. A local author who's books are based in Pittsburgh. Also the Lifelines medical novels. They are Grey's Anatomy meets PGH. Love them and the city

I have to say that I love Take Care Tips by my friend Jennifer Antkowiak! Great book by a Pittsburgher to remind us that while we may be parents, daycare providers, Hospice nurce, etc we need to take care of ourselves as much as we take care of others!
