Mayor Peduto Addresses the US Conference on Mayors

us-confEarlier this week, mayors from over 280 cities around the country gathered in Washington DC for the 82 annual Conference of Mayors.  The conference agenda is available online here.

Pittsburgh’s new mayor, Bill Peduto, spoke at the conference on Thursday.

You can watch Mayor Peduto’s remarks in the following video starting at 59 minutes.  Peduto talks about history, Rachel Carlson, sprawl, football, baseball, decline of steel industry – and gives a pretty concise history of where Pittsburgh has been and where we’re headed.
