During the first hour of this 2-hour presentation, we will explain how crowdfunding works, introduce the three most common models, and dig into the details of the two models that work best for small businesses, including pro’s, con’s and tips for each.

During the second hour, we will cover the specifics of Kiva’s crowdfunding platform and how to apply. Kiva is a nonprofit organization with a mission to help small businesses access capital and partners with local organizations to increase entrepreneurs’ chance of successfully utilizing the platform.
