Friends! I am running across Haiti in February for WORK (formerly Team Tassy). This event is to kick off my fundraising campaign!
Join us for a Make-It-Now Blown Glass Ornament Class and invite friends and family too! Note this is a private event so please do not contact the glass center with questions.

In this interactive and unique class, you’ll learn about the history of glass in Pittsburgh and the current contemporary exhibition in the Hodge Gallery, then you can get up close and see artists at work before making your own glass masterpiece.

Under the guidance of a hot shop instructor, you will make your own blown glass ornament to hang on the tree or give as a special holiday gift! Refreshments will be provided.

All proceeds benefit WORK’s Run Across Haiti Campaign. WORK’s mission is to accompany families in Haiti out of poverty through good, dignified jobs. We work in one community in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, called Menelas, where about 1,500 families live. Our goal is simple, to place two heads of households into a good, dignified job, so that our families and their community can lift themselves out of poverty forever.
