The Friends of the Hollywood Theater invites you to join us for a light brunch and a classic movie. Breakfast and a movie is $15 ($13 for Hollywood members).

You must order your brunch ticket by 11 p.m., Thursday, November 16th, online or at theater.

Doors open for the brunch at 10:15 a.m., and the film starts at 11. Film only tickets ($8) can be purchased at the door after 10:30 a.m. Brunch catered by Prohibition Pastries.

A young George Bailey (James Stewart), overwhelmed by family obligations and a sense of responsibility toward his community, feels tied down to a company he never had an interest in working for, and a life he never wanted to live. As he ages, he sees his youth, dreams and opportunities pass him by. Unknown to George, all of his friends and family have been praying for him to get through those hard times. Told through the point of view of a group of angels, he is met by his guardian angel Clarence, as he contemplates ending his life.

Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 94 percent, saying: “The holiday classic to define all holiday classics, It’s a Wonderful Life is one of a handful of films worth an annual viewing.”
