Here is a list of the events we shared on WDVE this morning.  There are lots of great ways to celebrate in Pittsburgh this weekend – kick off the weekend with the celebration of the Whiskey Rebellion at Wigle Whiskey’s tar and feathering party.  Then hit up one of the many festivals around town this weekend – everything from a beach a Bakery Square, Tomato & Garlic at Phipps and for the Renaissance Festival fans – The Renaissance Festival is back in town.

Inaugural Tar and Feathering Party

  • Wigle Whiskey
  • Friday, August 24, 2012
  • 6-9pm
  • Celebrate the Whiskey Rebellion with modern day (creative) interpretations of tar and feathering
  • Free to attend, $5 Wigle Cocktails, Food Trucks
Bikes, Beer & a Movie – Premium Rush

  • Friday, August 24, 2012
  • Join Iron City Bikes @ OTB at 8pm
  • Head to South Side Works to watch the 10:05pm showing of Premium Rush
  • Check out Iron City Bike on Facebook and Twitter @IronCityBikes
Horror Fan Flea Market

  • Saturday, August 25
  • 10am-2pm
  • Facebook Event
  • Hollywood Theater in Dormont
  • Followed by screenings of Don’t Look in the Basement and Demons
Bakery Square is Transformed into Bakery Beach
