Run, Swim and Drink with Santa this Weekend

December 9, 2011 Lindsay

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - NOVEMBER 28: Santas run t...

You have heard of the Iron Man triathalons – where serious athletes run, swim and bike.  This weekend is kind of like a Pittsburgh triathlon, which might be appropriately called the Iron City Man triathlon  Run, Swim and Drink.   Run in the Jingle Bell Run on Saturday morning – if you want to run very slowly you can join the IheartPGH team (or make a donation to our team and meet us at the end for Hot Chocolate).  Saturday afternoon is the 7th Annual Santarchy – hundreds of Santa’s will embark on a bar crawl around town.  Then, when you are filled with cheer – head over to Heinz Field on Sunday morning to take a dip in the river for the Pittsburgh Plunge.  Check out all of the details for these events and the other  items we discussed on the DVE morning show below.
