(Home) Brewing Up a Cure – October 16

I was talking with Brad and Doug – who are the hosts of Should I Drink That – a beer podcast loved around the world that broadcasts right here from Pittsburgh.  They kindly reminded me about Brewing Up A Cure – now in it’s 4th year – Brewing Up A Cure is a festival of home brewed beers that raises money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.

Last year the event raised $36,363 in the name of Sadie’s Soldiers for Sadie Lane Terrick and this year the goal is to raise $40,000 – Sadie’s dad, Shane, is a member of TRUB.

TRUB? TRUB – Three Rivers Underground Brewers – one of the great things about Brewing Up A Cure is that this is a beer festival of handcrafted homebrewed beers.  In addition to homebrewed beers, there will be food and some commercial beers available for sampling too.

WIN Tickets! Should I Drink That is giving away 2 tickets to the event.

Here’s how you win the tickets, post on our wall “The craft beer that 1st got me hooked was… ” and let us know what you drink or tweet it and add the hash tag #sidt. If you do both its twice the entries! That’s IT! Easy eh?.
