Pittsburgh's own eco fashion innovator *Jonano* to hold Sample Sale Tomorrow Friday 20th

We just recieved an email from Stephanie at Jonano about their sample sale tomorrow. I wanted to share because Jonano is a pretty cool company that has been generating some buzz across the country with their eco-friendly fashions. I learned about Jonano a few years ago and have some of their t-shirts (you can customize some of their bamboo t-shirts at Spreadshirt.com). Jonano also has some great dresses and yoga pants.

Check out the sample sale tomorrow or their entire collection at Jonano.com.

You can RSVP for the sample sale here on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=180216964142&ref=mf

The Nina

Last week the Nina and the Pinta sailed into Pittsburgh, well okay not the original ships that Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue with but the reproductions of The Nina and The Pinta. The two ships are docked next to Heinz field until November 15, 2009.

The website for the ships is – http://www.thenina.com/ – but it doesn’t have any info about their stop in Pittsburgh. From what I have read on the internet the ships are open for tours daily from 9am – 4pm daily. I think the tickets are $7. Continue reading
