  • Pittsburgh’s floating classroom the Explorer takes off for a haunted cruise around the rivers

Matchmaking Festival at Mullaney’s Harp and Fiddle

  • Friday, October 24, 2008 7pm
  • In celebration of the annual matchmaking festival in Ireland
  • Mulaney’s has been matching people here in Pittsburgh for 15 years.
  • Matchmakers will be on hand to match you to someone who could be your future husband

Millvale’s Creepy Harvest Party

  • Millvale’s riverfront park
  • Saturday, October 25, 2008 5-7pm
  • $3/kid includes a hot dog
  •  pumpkins, apple cider, scary stories and more

Zombie Walk

  • Sunday October, 26, 2008 9am at Monroeville Mall
  • Last year they set the Guinness World Record for the largest Zombie Walk, other zombie walks will be occurring around the world in celebration of Zombie Day
  • 2008 is also the 40th anniversary of Night of The Living Dead
  • Other activities are scheduled this weekend to celebrate World Zombie Day.
