Inaugural Randy Pausch Memorial Flag Football Tournament

Randy Pausch participated in the Pittsburgh Sports League Flag Football Team and some of his friends and team mates have organized Inaugural Randy Pausch Memorial Flag Football Tournament to honor Randy and to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. The tournament will be held on October 12, 2008 at the South Park Fairgrounds from 9am to 6pm.

About the Tournament: 3 Divisions of Competition; Double Elimination Format with 15-minute halves. Players must be 18 or older. Games start at 9:00 am. Click here for driving directions to South Park Fairgrounds. Click here for the rules (there may be a few small changes, e.g. gender rules).

    • 5-vs-5
    • Roster maximum: 10
    • Team fee: $200 on/before Sept. 30 ($250 after Sept. 30)
  • MEN’S COMPETITIVE
    • 5-vs-5
    • Roster maximum: 10
    • Team fee: $200 on/before Sept. 30 ($250 after Sept. 30)
  • WOMEN’S
    • 8-vs-8
    • Roster maximum: 16
    • Team fee: $300 on/before Sept. 30 ($350 after Sept. 30)
