House of Soul?

November 17, 2007 admin

Some friends who currently live in CA, but are returning back to Pittsburgh have called to ask for some advice on wedding bands.
One band that they inquired about is House of Soul. Since I have not heard of this band I thought I would ask the IheartPGH readership for their thoughts.

Has anyone hear House of Soul? Are they are good wedding band? Do you have any other suggestions for good wedding bands?

I saw Tony Janflone Jr. and his band play a wedding. I’m sure it was nearly impossible to book him, but it was awesome! Keep up the good work

In August, 2006 my daughter and I attended a wedding where The House of Soul was playing. She danced over to me and said, “If I ever get married, can we book these guys?” My daughter got engaged in March of 2007, and after booking the chapel, the second phone call I made was to The House of Soul. They are “abSOULutely” the best in town. They look good; they interact with the crowd, and they’re sound is out of this world! Our guests are still talking about the music. And
people who never dance, were out on the dance floor.
They may be expensive – but when you break it down among the 11 members of the band, you’re getting a HUGE bargin. BOOK THEM!
