Beer for Millvale

August 8, 2007 Lindsay 2 Comments

So If you are like me you are anxiously awaiting the Steel City Big Pour in September so you can drink beer (lots of beer) for a good cause, luckily there is another beer festival this weekend.

The Millvale Brew Festival is this Saturday August 11. Lots of tasty beer, and for a good cause too…

Millvale was devastated by flooding from Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and is still recovering from the devastation. Monies raised will help the Nonprofit Millvale Borough Development Corporation stabilize, revitalize and rejuvenate Millvale’s neighborhoods, through the development of housing, and businesses

When: August 11, 2007, Session I – 1pm-4pm, Session II 6pm-9pm
Where: Millvale Riverfront Park
Tickets per session: $30 ($35 at event), designated driver or under 21: $10 ($12 at event)
Tickets include: Beer Samples (21+ only) – Souvenir Glass – Entertainment – Food – Shuttle Service Provided

You can find more info and check out the confirmed brewery list at this great beer loving website: OldeFrothingslosh.com
