UPDATE: The Pittsburgh blog Bittersweet Harvest has some great photos of Fairey’s intallation at First and Wood Street here. Word on the street (and twitter) is that Shepard Fairey will be here in Pittsburgh for a Netroots Nation party on friday night. Last month I made it to the end of Viper Soul Club at the Shadow Lounge and one of the last songs of the evening was about Pittsburgh but I wasn’t able to get all of the details from DJ Juddy about this Pittsburgh song. Well this video popped up on YouTube today – with the entire song and a great slide show of phoos from Vipers Soul Club in January. more
Yesterday, I was watching this interview on KDKD where I learned that most people gain 7 pounds between Thanksgiving and New Years. I want to mention that this interview was about a new product, that I think is pretty cool, called GoWearFIT, which is from a Pittsburgh company, BodyMedia. One way to burn off some of those extra holiday calories more
I have blogged about these events many times before. These guys are fun, their parties are great. What used to be called Soucialism is now the Vipers Soul Club. The dance parties are now at the Shadow Lounge – which offers the added bonus of being smoke free. What I think is really notable is that members of the Ann Arbor Soul Club will be traveling more
