A very Serious Grill

A very arious grill, originally uploaded by IheartPGH. I am at the “Duke of Ribs” competition at the Union Project to sample some of Pittsburgh’s finest bbqed meats. I wanted to share a picture of this grill. This grill is hand crafted out of a prototype nuclear waste storage container on an old boat trailer. The chef wanted me to mention that the nuclear waste container was never used for nuclear waste – just BBQ. Summer Stew

The Union Project has been running this series for a few months now. The Tuesday Stew is an evening of music and a bowl of soup for the bargain price of $5. Pittsburgh is about the Neighborhoods – A documentary about East Liberty

Chris Ivey is a Pittsburgh based filmmaker who has traveled around the world working on documentary films. Over the past 2 years he has been working on a film about East Liberty called East of Liberty.
