Last Friday night I stopped by the WYEP Summer Music Fest – holy smokes – what a crowd – Pittsburgh loves an outdoor concert. Summer time, means outside concert time.  One of the most popular events of the season (and one of teh most popular summer posts on IheartPGH last summer) is Jam on Walnut.  Back for another year of free concerts in the street – there is a great line up of bands. Jam on Walnut 2010 – Walnut Street Closes for Traffic, Open for Concerts

Image via Wikipedia Back again for another summer of fun – free concerts on Walnut St. in Shadyside.  Walnut Street is closes to traffic and opens for music and more. All of the proceeds benefit the Western PA Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  It looks like the concerts are free – and that you can spend $2 on a wrist band for beer.
