A Wedding Show for those who love handmade – Perfect timing! I got a call from a very good Friend of IheartPGH this week called this week to say she was engaged! And facebook tells me another FoI<3PGH is engaged too. Pittsburgh handmade community has been working hard on putting together a wedding show for those who love handmade.
Hand(Made) In Marriage is Pittsburgh’s alternative, indie wedding show. Our goal is to offer the people of Pittsburgh a cool place to meet vendors who can provide them with something outside the norm.
Sundae market is a flea market on the Schenley Plaza lawn that showcases local artists, young designers, and people who just cleaned out their garage. So forget Craigslist, and stop bidding on eBay, come to Schenley Plaza and have some human interaction with sellers, or customers.
Spaces are FREE if you bring your own tables, or tables are available for
rent. visit the website for more info: http://sundaemarket.com
Everything kicks off at 12pm and goes to 5pm.

Once again it will provide an opportunity for Pittsburgh’s creative to sell their work as well as a chance for patrons to update their art collections and closets with original pieces from vendors of this city’s extraordinary homegrown talent.
Image via WikipediaI first learned about the Sundae Market from Carrie who is one of the great creative folks behind the Imadeit Craft Markets (see past post on IheartPGH here) – I stopped by the Sundae Market last fall and it was a perfect sunny Sunday afternoon. The Sundae Markets have returned this year and there are 2 more left this fall. The Sundae Market folks have a new website – SundaeMarket.com – They have been busy organizing markets in some other great cities like Buffalo – definitly sounds like something the GLUE – Great Lakes Urban Exchange folks would be happy to hear about.
Stop by Schenley Plaza on Sunday September 21 and September 28 from Noon to 5pm
I Made It crafters will be selling handmade goodness
